COVID Times:
It is difficult to evaluate how one feels in these difficult Covid times.

We have all faced:

  • Rapid changes to our way of life.
  • Travel restrictions.
  • Social and physical distancing.
  • Loss of lives.
  • Concerns for the safety of our loved ones or ours.
  • Job loss.
  • Financial uncertainty.
  • Uncertainty.

In the following list, one may recognise feelings or emotions or states one has experienced lately. Please seek help, ours or other therapists’, if you have repetitively felt any of the following:

  • Feeling stressed or overwhelmed
  • Anxiety, worry, fear
  • Racing thoughts
  • Sadness, tearfulness, loss of interest in usually enjoyable activities

Physical symptoms:

  • Increased heart rate
  • Stomach upset
  • Fatigue
  • Uncomfortable physical sensation
  • Frustration, irritability, anger
  • Restlessness, agitation.
  • Feeling helpless
  • Difficulty concentrating, difficulty sleeping
  • Feeling disconnected from others
  • Trouble relaxing
  • Apprehension of public spaces
